Hello! I am Nick Peters, the founder of DoctorDoItYourself.com.
In reality, I am a former orthopedic surgeon. I spent many years replacing knees, reconstructing shoulders and fixing broken bones. Unfortunately, a diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease ended my career as a surgeon earlier than anticipated.
The son of a carpenter, I have been around job sites since I was a child. I spent years watching and learning…and eventually doing. The knowledge passed on by my father was complimented by coursework in the trades in vocational school. Prior to becoming a surgeon, I spent years rehabbing homes. Even as a surgeon, my tools were drills, saws and screws!
I have always enjoyed taking on home improvement projects and still do today. As a doctor, I took pride in watching patients get better. DoctorDoItYourself.com allows me to continue helping those who want to improve. Let us work together on your next project!
